As a youth ministry, Reach began very small
Starting in the fall of 2005, Dave Senn and a team of dedicated workers started this work at the Echo Hills church. Our first official meeting was on January 1, 2006, picking up kids in three mini-vans and a few cars for the first month until we were able to purchase a school bus. Soon a second bus was purchased and our numbers began to grow rapidly. We've now been at Echo 16 years, and God has really opened doors for our work with the children and teens of our community. The REACH ministry is focused on building positive relationships and teaching truths of God's Word.
What Reach means to our family is evolving.
It began as a mission program, but it has become what defines us as a family at Echo Hills. Reach-ing out involves more than just the teens in our community, it involves our young kids and our adults as well. Our mission-minded focus to Love, Serve, Teach, and Build. So, in addition to Reach Teens for our youth group and bus ministry, there is Reach Kids, and Reach Adults for our benevolence, homeless, and foreign missions. Come get involved!
